Designing for Reading: Whitespace, Type, and Pace

Designing for Reading

Readers come for the words. The interface should be a quiet room, not a billboard.

  • Whitespace is not empty space; it is pacing
  • One accent color is enough
  • Typography carries the personality

We picked a near-white background, a neutral ink color, and Inter for UI and body text.
